And finally on the news France has announced today that it is changing its national flag from the traditional red, white and blue flag to just a plain white flag. The reasoning for this is because the French government is hoping to save money during any future conflicts.
Not bad, but to long. A mock news item should be very, very short
maybe only 10 -20 words total.
The old ones are the best.
This is perhaps too old a joke though.

Do you reckon I'm perhaps being too condescending maybe with the explanation bit? Because it could maybe go in order to shorten it.
