I find that production companies will read one's script very willingly if you stalk into their offices holding a gun.
List of companies to send scripts to Page 4
oh contraire they're like the kamikaze, they will die before reading your script. I once gunned down 23 people at a certain company, and then ran out of bullets. as I sulked home the secretary with her last breaths, spraying blood from internal injuries croaked out....
"sorry we've quite a back log, it'll go in the slush pile, and if you leave a SASAE we'll try and get it back to you,"
Don't forget to look for Production Companies in "The Writers Handbook" which is published every year.
If you can't afford your own copy read it in your local library.
It also usually mentions whether or not they accept unsolicited scripts.
I have written an episode for a stit com called 'A boy named shoe.' about a looser called Jimmy Shoe who ambles from one disaster to another, and finaly winds up working for the guy who used to bully him in school who is now a massive rock star.
Only have the one episode, trying to get enough material for more.

I like the sound of this. Be sure to post it when it's done.
I have a script which is based on a 'boiler room' sales environment and the two main male characters and their outside lives. It's similar humour to Peep Show and I'm working with a very experienced writer who has helped shape certain portions.
Is this something you would be interested in seeing?
