I read the couple of pages so apologies if someone mentioned it in the first few pages and I missed it, but Dinnerladies has a pretty much all female cast. Great show, too.
The Vicar of Dibley is my all time favourite, but what about:
"In Loving Memory" with Thora Hird
Or
"Nearest and Dearest" with Hilda Baker
Clatterford with Dawn French, Joanna Lumley & Sue Johnson
Was that what they renamed it?
Yep. Stupid name!
I'm not familiar with Dinnerladies but it sounds like the same show .BBC America released it on dvd not too long ago.I just rented it last week.I'm not a huge Dawn French fan but she's pretty funny in it and Sue Johnson is great as always.
(To bcbud, Clatterford's correct name is Jam & Jerusalem.)
dinnerladies is a pretty good show. Quirky, but good.
