Down with the sun Page 6

Pah! You have no ambition, shout loud enough and the whole world will revolve around you!

I think you are mistaking revolution with having too much lager!

Guys, we get the sun for about 2 weeks in a year - we can't change our entire infrastructure to compensate for such a paltry period of discomfort. I thought I was a moaner but I am now going to see myself as an apprentice (cue the "you're fired" jokes) :D

"Paltry period of discomfort"? Hah! Shows how much you know!

Good afternoon, everybody. I've just been outside to get my lunch and I can confirm that the sun is still rubbish. "Booo the sun!"

Did it taunt you?

Yes it did. It can burn me, but there's no way I could hit it with a small rock or Coke can. Where's the justice? I reckon it's because I'm a scouser.

I like the sun.... but I don't like heat. It makes me angry. If I have a crystal clear perfect pool to jump into when I get too hot, then I can cope with the heat... but without that then bleurgh!

Like irony is always defence, racism is always blamed.

Yay! Ellie's back. And she's on our side.

Oh wow. That sounds fantastic.

Too fantastic to be true!

It does - but this pool doesn't follow me around...although it is waiting for me in Tenerife! :)

It should follow you around though! Like those rainclouds in cartoons.

*Imagines Ellie walking down the road, getting on and off tube, trailing paddling pool attached by rope to her waist, sloshing water everywhere. Not eating bread.*

Trouble with pools is that they're not entirely compatible with computers.

Haha! Computers dictate everything then?
