I've never written a script before - which, i'll be honest, is probably detrimental to my chances of winning this thing.

I did manage to send a few things off in the end, and they say on the site that anyone who they like enough will be notified by the 25th, so only a week to wait for good or bad news...

Not long is it? That's good I guess.

3 more days...eeeeeee...

Can you imagine how much stuff they have to go through? I doubt you'll hear before Friday.

And frankly you don't know whose judging, and you don't know whose entering.

For all you know you're script could be being read by the one guy who wanted a new series of Laura Ben and Him.

Simon start another project ASAP for goodness sake or you'll go mad waiting! Still another three weeks for the Sitcom Trials deadline ?

Good call.

Aha, but I know someone who knows someone who works in the catering department, so it's pretty much a done thing. :)

I'm putting my one egg in this basket. Godspeed young egg.

I'm quietly going mental, checking my hotmail 10 times a day over this. Whcih is stupid.

Worst comes to the worst and you lose they'll be something new in a couple of months.

What... you're saying I might lose? My worst fear was they wouldn't pay my costs to Edinburgh.

now I'm really worried.

Totally. Everyone uses gmail nowadays.

I don't stand much of a chance having only sent one sketch. I didn't realise you could make multiple entries.

Wish I'd sent more now too. Ah well, if wishes were fishes...

Apparently they received 'over 1000' and will be shortlisting the (9) finalists this afternoon.
