Sequels better than the original? Page 4

Never mind.(Kicks dirt and shuffles around a bit) Moments gone now. Bastard. Angry

I am so glad nobody has said Predator 2 is better than the first film

in my opinion last of the crusade is better than raiders of the lost ark

Preditor 2 is far superior to Preditor 1.

I preferred The Two Towers to The Fellowship Of The Ring.

Was it shorter?

I'm not actually sure. They were all ridiculously long though.

Has anybody already pointed out that the Star Trek even-numbered movies are mostly way better than the odd-numbered ones ? So Star Trek 2 > Star Trek 1.

Has anybody already pointed out that Star Trek movies are inherently crap?

Cue people being shocked that Aaron is such a geek but likes neither Lord Of The Rings or Star Trek.

:)

I do have some standards!

I like Star Trek IV. Some lovely comedy moments in that one.

I prefer Lethal Weapon 2 to Lethal Weapon 1.

I prefer The Godfather to The Godfather Part 2.

Not just decent sequels, but actually superior.

I used to cite A Shot In the Dark, then someone told me that it was actually filmed before The Pink Panther, but only released after the success of the latter. Which probably doesn't count.

So that just leaves me with Toy Story 2.

Any other suggestions?

I agree with Toy Story 2, which is perhaps one of my favourite movies.

Thought of one: Son of Paleface.

I thought the first Lord of the Rings film was a bit rubbish. The next two were better.

They were all inherently poo.

I admit, I did fall asleep an hour into it.
