Just viewable as 'racist enough'? No bloody way! One thing I've learnt since the dawn of forums and blogs is that we only used to pay lip service to the phrase, 'you can't please everyone', now I know it's true and how!

I'm not giving an inch on this. You're entitled to hold your prejudices Sootyj, (even when you attribute them to what others may think). Just don't expect me to agree with them. I'll repeat what I said earlier: this country is experiencing a huge change to the make-up of the population. It's a done deal. Live with it. Living with it means you may notice changes. As long as we don't hurt, or injure in any way, then I decry anyone who leaves even the fainest of smears against those comment on differences. Scottish people talk with a noticeable burr. Liverpool people have an unmistakable 'scouse' accent. Welsh people have a sing-song type of pronunciation. In Cornwall they really roll their rrr's to kingdom come. And I haven't even mentioned the Irish. However, in these early years of this new millennium, there are even newer and greater differences in the population. Who says we can't mention them in conversation, print or film?
PC loonies are brain-f**ked! Ask any recent immigrant to the UK.

Well you guys have different opinions and that's healthy too. I never saw any racist connotations in your sketch but, like beauty, it is in the eye of the beholder. I doubt you two are going to agree on everything and I believe you both have a lot to give these forums and would be wiser to just move on. I'm sorry if that sounds a bit patronising but I am trying to aim for pragmatism.

It's not that I'm ignoring your opinion in that you believe others in prodco's may hold that view - it's that I don't agree with anyone who takes the side of censorship under the guise of racism.
The sketch should have been over and done with, disliked, praised or otherwise.
