So they went from little programs about people in small town Canada to 'artistic', 'edgy' programing which is means replace CBC's American programing with British American programing like The Tudors and stuff.

I thought the Tudors was a collaboration between BBC & Showtime?

Wiki thinks it an Irish/Canadian collaboration :S

Yeah, maybe... Think I read that Showtime, or whoever it was, lead it though. I don't remember any other BBC show, co-prod or not, being filled with such blatant tittery.

Ahhh yes. That's more like what I saw about it.

Self explanatory thread me thinks

1. Too many American programmes
2. Too many "Reality" programmes
3. BBC 3
4. Jonathan WRoss
5. Too many Quiz shows
6. A lack of British sitcoms
7. Eastenders
8. Too much Sport
9. Unimaginative scheduling
10. ITV2

Wossy's great, especially his opening monologue at the British Comedy Awards where he trashes egos left, right and centre. And his radio shows probably the funniest thing on the radio each week - and he did rather amusingly diss Baumski's book when he heard about it on the news.

As for BBC3, I think it does know what it wants to be now: E4.
