I wouldn't mind seeing The Prisoner, ever repeated?

Loads of times; I think ITV4 have been showing it recently. Its a truly bonkers shows, and very-very sixties!

I'd love to watch The Tripods. I read a couple of books based on the series and found them entertaining.

I watched that avidly as a kid. It was brilliant, really eerie(sp) and original. It make me freaked out by pilons for ages! Just these quiet towering metal things standing in the middle of nowhere! I looked for it on torrents for ages coz I wanted to relive it and I remembered it so fondly. I found all the series and was so over the moon but when I watched it I could'nt believe how absolutely crud it was! I swear it wasn't the same thing I saw as a kid.

I've seen clips n stuff. That's the one with the giant ball right?

It's all out on DVD. Network's recent release is fully digitally restored, both picture and sound.

Cool, I'll go and "buy" the DVD now then.

Yay, Tripods = awesome.
The Triffids too.
It is all very grey and miserable, you're right. I love it.

Like those old Tales of The Unexpected.

Yeah, I loved this as a kid, it really freaked me out; the metal arm things coming out and grabbing people by the head, putting those metal caps on them. Ive seen lots of clips since then and it does look a bit crud though; but when I was five it was awesome! :)

Doomwatch was a terrific show and when Robert Powell got blown up at the end of series 1 I cheered wildly :)

Do you remember Box of Delights? I loved that too, and I bet that'd be shit if I saw it now as well.

I'm still scared of pylons now.
And I grew up next to one. :O

I recognise the title, but Im not getting a picture of the show. Anyone remember kids show Moondial (I think it was called)? That used to scare the poo out of me! They just dont make kids shows like that anymore; it used to give me nightmares!

Yes! It wasn't just me!

That was brilliant.

Ah zooo, me and you could probably reminisce for hours about all the things 23 year olds grew up with :)
