How do they film an audience sitcom? Page 3

I saw After You've Gone as well. And got to go to the green room after. ;) Heheh.

Green Room?

Yeah, where all the stars hang out after. ;)

Teary :O Teary

So..you met...ACTORS?

Yep. And got to go exploring round TV Centre! (They had some nice food there too.)

I wish I was you. Well, maybe not....

But i'm still jealous.

It'd be a horrible thing, to be me.

You suffer so much don't you? Cool

A daily struggle, my friend. A daily struggle.

After saying "Two Pints" was a favourite of my son (On one of those I hate/love "Two Pints" threads, on the Last Laugh board) Michael Jacob, very kindly invited us to watch an episode being filmed. We watched in the green room with Michael, where we later met the cast...and my son was given a signed script. No idea who the warm up guy was, but he was great.

Do go and watch a sitcom being recorded if you can, 'tis jolly interesting.

:D

Bloody hell! I expect I'm the only person here who is a little jealous at that!

:D Well, it certainly made my son's day...Such a nice man, that Michael jacob :)

I went to a recording of After You've Gone last week at the Teddington Studios which was fun and fascintating if slightly gruelling process as it took 3 hours to record. The Warm up guy we had was called Adrian and was quite good considering he had to talk to the audience for over three hours.

After the show I decided to stick around to catch the cast and try and get a few autographs. They were all really nice especially Ryan Sampson who is tiny considering he is only two years older than I am but he was really chatty and was willing to sign autographs even though he's not as famous as the other three.

Ah lucky you. I'm always having to rush back for a bloody train! Ryan is great though, isn't he? :)

Never been to see a sitcom filmed, I don't know if I'd want to considering the amount of time it takes. I have been to see Ruddy Hell It's Harry and Paul, which was great as it had two of my favourite comedians in AND Big Suze from Peep Show. Also went to a recording of Mock The Week which literally had me in tears it was so good.

Anyone else go to a lot of radio shows? I've been to News Quiz and The Now Show many times as well as a few others, I think I prefer them to be honest.
