That's a nice castle, not sure if I've been or not, but would like to. I like castles too.

Remember this is a British forum, we all live in castles.

I believe Castles are a French invention.

I would have to check to confirm it though.

EDIT: Yep they popped up in france around the 9th century. Aaron did something French!!!!1

I have a Castle in my room, next to my nude post of Sophie Howard...

Arundel was used as Windsor castle in an episode of Doctor Who. :)

Castles are brilliant-tastic.

Ooooooo! Which one?

I've just got back from a week in a caravan in sunny Berwick-Upon-Tweed. Oh the glamour :-(

Still, caravan site was great, caravan itself was massive and lovely, but Berwick was f**king awful. Nowhere to eat, nowt to do and quite ridiculously expensive.

However the trip to Alnwick Castle (Hogwarts) more than made up for it. Plus I did some archery, which I've always fancied a pop at and enjoyed a lot. And I squeezed the missus' tits in the dungeon which is about as kinky an experience I've had.

Have to say the evening "entertainment" at the campsite was so bad it was hilarious. My face was sore from laughing at one of the acts, a so-called magician. I bought my 6 year old son a magic set from Toys R Us for Christmas, and this guy was using the same tricks from that very same set. Comedy gold.

Then a BBC camera crew turned up to film a magic / animal act for a show. I think the show was called 'Pets At Work' or something. Anyway, the act was fairly average but the director told the audience beforehand that we all had to cheer and go wild, which we duly did. The guy was a bit creepy though - he looked a little too in love with his birds. He planted a lingering kiss on a dove and I could've sworn I saw him slip the tongue in his beak.

Have I bored you enough yet? I have holiday snaps, wait I'll just go and get them, there's only a couple of hundred...

You went to Hogwarts!!???!!

Do you have pictures of that?

Silver Nemesis three parter, 1988.

(Sylvester McCoy. :( )

It actually sounds quite good though. I wanna see it!

I went to Australia this year. I saw a kangaroo. I also ate a very nice red snapper dish. Exciting, hey?

Archery is great fun. I highly recommend it to anyone who gets a chance. Love it. :)

Somewhat ... disturbing.

How dare you put a frowny face next to the McCoy! Best-Doctor-ever! Silver Nemesis is a bit of a duffer though, not one of his best.

Very oldene!

Well the synopsis I just read on Wiki sounded ace. :)

Different parts of Hogwarts were filmed at different locations. Arundel, for example, was used for parts of it. I *think* I read that the great hall had been used for the same in at least one of the films.

I like it all, even the crap ones, but there are far better McCoy ones.

Bloody filmmakers!
