Cat In The Wood Sketch Page 3

All this talk of the appropriateness of the dog and it laughing at the dead cat, had me thinking: Yeah the dog talking, that's bollocks.

- Dog?
- Bollocks?
- Dog + bollocks = it's what they do.

You're ahead of me now aren't you? You know what I'm going to suggest next.

And I thought, if this sketch ever got to be part of a running series of sketches, then it would be alright to leave the dog in. Because then the whole world-wide cat community would be out to get even with that killer dog.

So in a follow-on to the above sketch, the same dog would be crossing the road one day when, he too, was run down by a car. Out gets the same woman who screams: "Oh my god, look at the state of that poor dog. He's been torn limb from limb by the impact".

Out gets the original cat, walks round, looks at what's left of the dog and in disgust mews: 'Ewwwwwwwwww!'

The woman cries: "What? What is it? What have you seen?"

The cat replies: "It's the dog's bollocks" and purrs contentedly.
