TV and script writing

Hi. Im really hoping to we a writer for a Tv show and wondered if anyone out there already does this and could give me some tips? Thankyou for any pitying responces... :)

Thanks. But usually I do use the right punctuation, I just don't on forums. :)

Charly, are you looking to write for a specific TV show or just TV in general?

I'm not really sure. Its the career i want in a year or twos time, but i just wanted tips on how to get started. I aspire to right for...Ok, dont laugh!...Dr Who *oh the shame*. But to answer your question, i think just tv in general.

NB: Write. See, i notice my mistakes!

No laughing from me - I'd love to write for Doctor Who.

There's no fixed route into TV writing. Just write, get good, get noticed.

Easy, eh?

My friend better not find out, she'll stow away in your car just to get on set!

Write every day. Treat every piece of writing you do (forum post / script / diary / blog etc) as a chance to continually improve all aspects of your writing.

:)

She is a fan ?

I'm not sure if she is a fan of the show, but certainly of one character in particular. Rolling eyes

Who is that ?

I bet it's the same one I like.

Actually, maybe that's a bit specialist.

Poul something or other.

That would not be Chris Geere by any chance is it ?
