Dream on

Does anyone remember an American show called Dream on?

If so, do you know if it's on DVD?

Yes and yes.

I think the first two seasons are out on both Region one and region two.

Good sitcom, I especially appreciated it as I was a young teenager at the time when it was first out and I got to see a comedy with boobies in every episode :)

I brought the first season in Smiths for £18 last week. And I think the second season has just been released. I love this show, not least because you get to see bare-breasted women in it.

I am very annoyed to learn of the existence of this show. One of my planned projects for this year was to write a sitcom which showed the dreams of the main character. Bugger and bollocks.

Anoying aint it? I planned to do one aboutr a guy who slips into a coma and finds himself in the past.

Then they did Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes. Angry

The whole coma sitcom was also done by Radio 4's Vent., starring Neil Pearson.

Oh I guess I missed that one. Huh?

I still plan to do mine, but instead of a coma and going back in time my character is going to die and go to Hell.

Hell will consist of the worst of everything, bad TV, Books, awfull food, naf clothing styles and music, warm beer, morris dancing on TV every night, large screen in the pub showing the Tiddly winks finals....

I feel like a heel, but Radio 4 have done that as well with Old Harry's Game, set in hell and written by Andy Hamilton.

I'm not saying he shouldn't write it by any means. I'd personally much rather watch a sitcom set in hell rather than half the guff BBC3 force feeds us.

The pub in Hell is called 'Dante's rest' and the land lady is Lucy Devlin

(Lucifer Devil-in).

I like comedies about Hell and the Devil. Bedazzled is great.

I found it incredibly dull, flat, and meandering.

Both versions.
