Film-wise, I highly recommend Yellowbeard, which is marvellously insane.

I love Yellowbeard, but find people strangely reluctant to give it a go.

On the plus side, I've nicked pretty much every joke from it and no one seems to have noticed.

They're too busy staggering and rolling around!

World's End was good. Though honestly I saw it at the pictures as it was made in Welwyn Garden City just down the road from my old home town.
Is it my imagination but is this thread simply yank V Brit comedy films?
Yank = big $ = best? Not necessarily so.
Some of the poorest Brit flicks have been ones pandering to the USA market.
Richard Curtis in Hollywood is indicative of Brits in the states. Notting Hill sanitised London.
So Yanks don't get English sense of humour so what? Who cares? Not me.
