I'm totally pissed off at the moment. Everyday I do this. I get off the train from work, pass my house and hide my workbag in the garden, walk across to the paper shop, get the Manchester Evening News and go back home collecting my bag. Today with it being a really hot day, I put my bag and jacket in the garden, hid them very well between my two Wheelie Bins. Coming back, the bag and the Jacket have gone. Thankfully I had my wallet in my pocket, but my bag had important things in them that I need for work. WHAT IS THE WORLD COMING TO!!! Is it really worth calling the Police/Crimestoppers.
What is this world coming to!!!
It's sick isn't it? Someone has obviously seen you do it before and decided to take advantage. Thank goodness you had your wallet.
I know, but the most irrating thing is nothing has been taken that is important to nobody, just vitally important for my work. Hence the thieves will probably realise this and probably just dump the bag in the river, and it's stuff I badly need
If you intend to claim on the insurance you will need a crime report number from the police, if you dont need to claim then dont bother.
Move to Essex, no crime down here, just dont spill anyone's pint!
I moved from Manchester to Saddleworth. A very small village in Saddleworth and things like this happen.
You can't be too careful, unfortunately, Jack. Some people will take anything, that's the way it is, you just have to make sure you don't give them the chance.
Annoying indeed. I don't understand why you can't just take the stuff over to the shop with you though, or at least open the front door and chuck them into the hall?
It closes at four O'Clock, the train is meant to get in at 3.56, the walk to the shop is about ten minutes. I just dump my heavy bag and run.
Ahh, I see. Hm, annoying.
If it helps any, apparently there's a gunman on the run near where I live.

Probably the funniest thing you've ever posted Aaron. You've really cheered me up, still a bit down though.
No offence but if you hide things in your garden that are important to you and they get nicked then you only have yourself to blame.
You never know perhaps somebody saw them and panicked, and they have now been blown to smithereens in a controlled explosion.
Well you're alot of comfort aren't you Wayne. Have you considered joining the Samaritans.
Great news, I've got the bag and jacket back. My brother saw me putting it in my garden and found it amusing hiding it in my house (he had my spare key). I went in the cupboard and found them with a note saying haha on it. I looked in every bush in my area all last night for about four hours.
Oh my god... that's insane!! But I'm very happy you got your stuff back. I said all along someone saw you do it. Naughty brother.
LOL
Funniest thing I have seen today - including some funny stuff on the comedy college blog.
