Woodwork sketch

Int. Garden

#Uplifting tune plays throughout#

Montage of shots of a jolly man sawing, plaining and nailing pieces of wood. Every now and then he stops to mop his brow. Eventually he is shown nailing one final piece of wood down. He stands back and admires his work. The camera reveals he’s been building a set of gallows.

ENDS

I liked that muchly, simple and funny. Of course, if you wanted to get really sick, you could keep the jolly music and tone going as the man is joined by smiling wife and child, who then lead tied up small boy from a box; we then cut to a back shot of the small boy swinging dead from the gallows as the others laugh and joke and enjoy a well deserved cup of tea. But that might be a touch too sick! Good sketch though, well done.

Thanks, Matt

I did have a child angle in mind at first, not as fierce as yours though! I just played it simple in the end.

Nice and simple, works. Dare I ask what do you think of my similar silents skits?
