Bull Comedy Workshop

Just signed up to the Bull Comedy "so you want to write a sitcom?" day workshop on the 31st of may, just thought I'd see if by some small chance anyone from here was doing it?

Where abouts is it? and how much was it?

It's in London, £130 for the day. It's with... some bloke, who writes and edits sitcoms for the bbc, so at the least it'll be a nice bit of networking. www.bullcomedy.com

hmmm not sure what to do now I was about to send a script off to Marc Blake, not sure if I should chance my arm at the workshop instead.

Well they say you can bring along scripts your working on at the moment. You'd probably get more for your money with the course, if your looking for general help, then again Marc might give u more detailed ideas on a specific script...

Cool, cheers for the advice Rebecca. Gonna have to mull it over.

This sounds really good. I don't have a problem going or paying but I'm useless at directions and the community centre looks like it's in the middle of deepest londonville with the nearest tube station 800 miles away...

Def.

Do these events run quite often? I can't make 31st May, but would go on another date if it were available.

I think they do sketch workshops as well, but I don't know anyone who's attended any of their courses.

Yeah they do sketch and stand up comedy workshops as well as the sitcom one.

I'm awful at directions as well, I blame it on being dyslexic. If the worst comes to the worst, I'm thinking taxi.

I've still not decided yet but if there are a few of us we could meet somewhere central or nearby and get a cab together ?

I'd be up for that if people decide to do it.
