Is that before or after you send in some sketches.

Oh man, I've got sketches all over the place, some of which are a few years old. I'll have to dig them out, in the next couple of days.
Mind if I send in a few sketches?
Martin Holmes you LIE!!!! I have used your sketches and you know it! They are fantastic - I just havent filmed it yet. Your sketch has been seen by directors though.
A sketch show involving Jo King: how can it fail!

Ah I know that and I really appreciate it. I was referring to the various 'group sketch projects' that are suggested on this site that never seem to come to fruition.
I would love to write some more stuff for you and get it all filmed and stuff. Now my exams are over I can fully focus on my scripts again. Definitely want to get a pilot sketch show filmed this year, no matter how cheap and tacky it looks, as long as it's funny that's all that matters to me.
This is quite encouraging...

This is open to everyone! So carry on sending those sketches!
Well surely our sketches must be better than that one?!

I'd like to think so but humour is subjective. Its a decent example of what you can do on a low budget as its mainly domestic sketches. I think they stand more chances of getting made. For more, see: http://www.myspace.com/navelgazing

Yeah it is possible to get stuff out there and seen. I think it also has to be original though and with a low budget that could be hard because the settings will be very similar, but that shouldn't stop the humour from been unique. That way people in power will take more notice...hopefully.
That's the plan, so keep on sending stuff through.
ContainsNuts, I sent a few sketches in the other day, but I had a couple that I wasn't sure of due to location restrictions. If I had a sketch which was set in a police interview room, would that be possible?

At this stage I don't know as that will be decided upon by the film makers. I would say send it in as we'd only need an office to make it look like a police room, but I can't promise anything yet.
Ok, cheers. I'll get on to it.
If locations are an issue, there's an opportunity for an extra joke - 'look how crap are budget is', ect.
