Hackney'd

Dianne Abbott and Keith Vaz are talking to a voter.

Dianne
I’m Dianne Abbot

Keith
And I’m Keith Vaz, we’re walking the streets of Hackney at night.

Voter
That’s great, to prove you don’t think London’s streets are dangerous and crime ridden?

Dianne
No collecting party donations.

Keith pulls a knife.

Keith
Give us your wallet now.

Found this golden oldie, whilst poking through my fossilised skits for Tilt, no one wanted it was it any good?

As someone born and raised in Hackney I take great offence to the assumption that knives are carried for the purpose of illegally obtaining monies.

It's guns!

Also, did not Vas and Abbott fall out a while back? Maybe have them in a street fight.

A fair attempt I'd say, sootyj.

What I would say is there might be some who attack you (with a knife or gun?) from a pc point of view re the implication.

Some times the blunderbuss tops the stiletto.

I liked this one, albeit it's a hoary old verbal, pull back and reveal.

I think I wrote it when the Labour party was in trouble for dodgy donations. Again.

Depressing how much dodgy funding was raised, for that bloody deputy PM campaign.

Besides Vaz always struck me as a knife kinda guy. Old fashioned, and the sort of person who want to feel the warm blood on his wrists, as he twisted the point.

Oh dear I just realised I've done a Boris.

This skit is deeply, and accidentally racist! Oh bums, please substitute Ed Balls for Keith Vaz.
