To Be Or Not To Be, Innit - Update Page 7

Ummm...I should have just asked this a while back but....what does "innit" mean. Does it replace a word? Is it slang for a different word? I don't really understand it.

It's like "isn't it". Like "It's sunny, innit". Awful, awful word.

Laughing out loud cool thanks

The film "Tesis" is based on him I think?

Never heard of it!

And he wrote books like years ago about the youngest daughters in Spain not being allowed to get married.

:D!

Just want to say I mentioned this book to my English teacher today. She said she'd have a look!

(We're doing Shakespeare way too much and all because of SATs...)

Has that Brian off Big Brother got a copy?

Blimey, that was a retro reference!

And one which went straight over the head of us civilised types. ;)

Cool

So is my brother-and he hates it to death, so I'm trying to get him to look at the book.

Heard the 5 Live interview and the Breakfast TV interview before spotting this thread.

Big Well Done !!!!

Oh no, I missed it! I'm guessing I was at school. :(
