Glee

Did anyone take part in this yesterday?

I think yesterday was a trial run but it seems to be a rolling 'topical' blog run by the BBC new comedy department. A nice idea and a good way to flex your satyyyyrrical muscles, if you're crap at it like me and insist on spelling satirical sarcastically in a stewart lee way. I got sent an email asking to send in topical stuff but I don't think mine or anyone else's stuff got used, anyone here get involved? As I say, it seems like a good idea (and I love Wil Hodgeson).

Yeah, i took part. thought it was pretty good overal but don't think much material from 'us' was used.

I meant to send some stuff in, but I was in meetings all day.

Sounded like a good idea though.

Joel Morris looks and sounds like a bit of a tossbag. I might still send them some stuff.

He did the Framley Examiner, which was excellent, and I think he does lots of animation stuff too, I have a vague memory of a dancing cats advert for Crusha or some other unpleasant milkshake drink.

i think you're mixing your Joels. Joel Morris (framley examiner/ longtime contributor to viz) and joel veich (crusha advert/ rathergood kittens)

you're right I am, they both do B3ta stuff, don't they?

joel veitch does rathergood.com but is involved with b3ta. i don't think morris is involved with them. might be though.
