Did anyone see that thing where fans could buy a piece of a football club? In the end 50,000 fans paid £35 and bought a team called Ebbsfleet who play in the Blue Square Premier League. They get to have a say on transfers and team selection etc.

Just wondered if the same format could be followed to create a sketch show. If writers stumped up £35 to show that they were serious it would put off the cretins with no talent.
The members could then vote on the best sketches and the money raised would go towards production. Members could also offer services in terms playing roles or being technical staff or script editors.
Writers' would earn if a series was sold. Maybe the show could be shown online by subscription. TV channels may be interested in a 'making of' show too.
Just an idea that hasn't been thought through.
Methinks it would be carnage with arguments aplenty.
