A plea to dog lovers Page 3

I always think Staffies look a bit ashamed.

It's chihuahuas I feel sorry for. I mean do they feel like a dog, but just really inadequate. And as for those bat eared french bulldogs.

Ashamed of their owners probably going by the type of guys who walk them. They seem to be the chav dog.

They generally look more intelligent, and higher up the evolutionary ladder than their owners,

That's not hard though is it now?
Chavs generally look as if their Mum's their sister. And possibly their Dad too.

Jack Russel and he rocks! I wish I could take him to work.

Jack Russels are great little dogs. Spaniels are great dogs also just a lot of grooming I bet.

cats are sneaky bastards.

Cause they outsmart dogs...

Not that hard though, to be fair.

Shi-tzus are lovely dogs and are the 'comedians' of the dog world. I had two and they never ceased to amuse us but they know they are making you laugh too, very smart dogs.

Laughing out loud I had to go back to see what you meant, it does kinda look like that eh?
Yes that's the creek that runs in the back of my family farm. The creek can be rather low nearing the end of the summer, it's currently over flowing at the moment.
We rotate our crops between potatoes, canola and wheat.

That's a proper dog, that is. I bet you miss him like a big loon.

What on earth is canola, by the way? I know what potatoes and wheat are.

I went to look up a picture and found out Canola is a Canadian thing. Sorry about that I thought it was a common product.
Canola is used as a healthier substitute for cooking oil and is in a lot of margarine (not sure if you have margarine). This is a Canola flower with its seeds (the seeds are what make the oil). And this is what it looks like in a field:

Looks really nice growing in your farm but stinks really bad when it starts to die.

Yes, we have margarine.

Ah, right, we call it oilseed rape in the UK.

If anybody can suggest a more unpleasant plant name, please post it on the General, General Thread.

*Opens dirty, filthy floodgates*

Oi'll seedy rape.

Isn't that how a Brummie buys dodgy porn?

Arf arf!

Do you mean rapeseed oil? Haven't heard it that way round. Or are they the same? Meh, I'm not a farmer, who cares?

The link doesn't work. What should I Google?
