My one general observation, echoed by others, is that over confidence and arrogance is a really unnattractive quality.

Tom Skerrit likes it in a fighter pilot.

Who is Tom Skerrit, and why are you accusing him of being an homosexual, who likes the air force?

Just a quick note to say I really enjoyed this spat. It was like watching two bald men fight over a comb. My one general observation, echoed by others, is that over confidence and arrogance is a really unnattractive quality.

Ego clashing is the biggest start of arguements in my opinion.

Especailly in writers...

This is quite baffling. I've watched many of Tom Skerrit's movies and cannot recall a single one where he introduces any part of himself into any cavity of a pilot.

Didn't he play Phil McCavity in the epic "Brown Wings"?

I think Drew Barrymore has a private pilots licence?

Oh Lordy I'm infectious.

Errr. Gay flyer... No... Pilot... Oh, oh PIE lot... Man flying..?

No. I'm done.

Confidence is okay. But arrogance isn't so good. And I'm an expert so I should know!

I think arrogance is fine if you can justify it. However, if you can't walk it and talk it, then don't even try.

True confidence whispers.

What's that you said, sootyj?

I believe arrogance should never be justified not matter what you've done, I could go into my reasons why but the main one is you become a complete bell end.

Yeah, confidence and arrogance are worlds apart. Arrogance is never a good trait. Arrogance and confidence often get mixed up.
