No, interesting to visit for the peculiar mix though. In terms of there being the complexes surrounding Canary Wharf alongside some relatively poor areas.

Some family history just to the north of there though: First place the family lived in London. Most people in London are descendants of people from all over the country and world: Quite significant when you think about the BNP successes on the Island since very few there could claim to be indiginous. How, for instance, can you define 'British' or claim that a particular area belongs to you because of a brief period in history which you saw as 'good' when research shows otherwise and your ancestors had moved there from far away? True history surpasses the ignorance and local political situations that led to the election of BNP councillors.

"True" history rarely reflects the actuality or reality of peoples' on-the-ground experiences. Unfortunately, the big parties don't take much notice of what actually happens, because they're too scared of x, y, z, whereas the smaller parties (the BNP in this case) DO take notice, and push the relatively sane parts of their manifesto/goals/etc, whilst playing down the "less desirable" ones. I think it's unfair to blame the electorate (although I'm aware you've not necessarily done so here) for the mainstream parties' failure to address real concerns and real issues.

Anyway.

Ok, this is a special round called 'Connections'.

The questions vary and can be answered individually. Some are easy so it's fastest fingers first - so best not to try all at once cos typing takes time!. All are 1 point.

Then, there is a connection between all of the answers and the first to state the connection will get 3 points.

It's something a bit more tangible and well known.

The answers connect in some way or another: Mostly straightforard but some might be cryptic or where only part of the answer is the connection.

Yes, one wot I wrote meself but connection has been achieved by 70% of all asked so far!
