Quiz ya!

Since i just asked a ''question'' on another thread for a laugh i thought I might as well start this.
If it's popular I'll keep score and announce the winner at the end of this month ( most first right answers).

Easy one to start - first to answer gets the point.

How do you get Piccachu onto a crowded bus?

Pokémon?

Yay!

leevil gets the first point of the month.

another point to first who gets the question in Astronomy thread.

next question - if you're not here - ? Ya gotta be innit to win it!

In what sport is there a 'finish line' that competitors do not have to cross (but usually, eventually do cross) ?

Marathon running?

Marathon running?

Nope, they have to cross that line. Nice try though.

I have a feeling it's not a running event at all.

I'll give clues tomorrow when more people are about.

Goodnight peeps.

Drag Racing?

Drag Racing?

Whatever you're into wearing that looks like a finish line to me: No Sorry

On the morrow peeps.

And - as I really am going to bed now - just to clarify some rules.

For the moment, you can have as many tries as you like.

Some future questions will be different - easier or researchable=penalty for wrong answer. fastest finger first wins.

Other questions will be 'penalty point' stylie. a numerical answer where u score a point for correct but lose a point for every digit yoy are away from the correct.

others will be 'who's nearest' stylie. i.e. the answer will be a year or a difficult, and difficult to research number/measurement/statistic, etc.

most will still be just Gen knowledge or downright silly.

Watch this space!

I 'sport' a euphamism for the horizontal tango?

Ok,

It is in no way a trick question.

A well known sporting discipline with several different events.

Off to the shops, back soon. Nuvver easier one.

You Pokemon, obviously.

Hmmmmm, just a tickle late on the buzzer there Griff!
Laughing out loud

Tennis has a thinnish line marking the boundaries.

Tennis has a thinnish line marking the boundaries.

Nope, it's something very obvious, a finish line that competitors are not required to cross - and the clue in the question (but normally, eventually do)

OK Question stands for now and is now worth 2 points.

Meanwhile easier one>>>>>>> coming

Careful with this one cos relatively easy and topical to here. You lose a point if you offer a wrong answer.

''What do Barney Rubble and Frank Spencer have in common ?'' 1 point.

Quote: Griff @ April 17 2008, 12:51 PM BST

Both married to Betty.

Yay! well done Griff - draws level with Leevil.

Don't forget the finish line question is stiil open and worth two points -

Further clue -
? the answer is mentioned in the ''astronomy'' thread.

Also the question there that started me off on this is still open and valid for this quiz.

New question coming soon
