How many characters? Page 2

If you have several interesting characters you want to develop, then use them. Don't stick in random people just to make the numbers up.

If your sitcom is based around a family, you have the conventional 2.4.

If it is a group of friends then it can be 2,4,6 before it gets too crowded.

If it is an office, we have a central character and a boss, secretary and err... other central character/love interest.

4 is a good number.

www.surfthechannel.com probably has it.

I meant actually the script, I do have all the seasons. Nice page though, I didn't know that one.

Simpsons has hundreds. I know it's a cartoon but ithink it may still fall into the genre.

Bloody hell that's a good site. NIce one.

I am searching for the pilot of "two and a half men", no luck till now. I love this show and would like to study the way characters and their life situation are introduced. Someone knows where I can find it?

I'm trying to write one with about 10-12 characters, each with equal weight. However, each episode will focus on one of them. Bit like The Smoking Room.
