Yeah, but what gig was it?

Well, there were people laughing - so it wasn't one of yours.

Yeah, really, really small crowd. Good laugh though! Shame you couldn't come too.

Yeah for sure.

By the way - is it snowing REALLY badly - yes it is!!!!

Saw Stephen K Amos in Woking last night. Veeery funny! Most excellent.

Recommended.

Hehe -- it was good. Especially as it had lost 33% of the audience by the time Hal Cruttenden turned up. And more from his worry that he'd then missed the last train ...

:D

COMPERE:
What were you talking about then?

ME:
Writing comedy...

COMPERE:
You write comedy?

DOLLY:
We all do here on the front row.

Cool, I saw him once about 6 years ago and fancy getting tickets. I always like him on the Wright Stuff.

Up the Clique ?
:D

I'm going to see John Bishop tommorrow night....

I would highly recommend seeing Eric 'Tales of the sea' on the 1st of Feb at the Blue Posts (Rupert street). It was by a long shot the best show I saw at Edinburgh last year.

Saw Lee Mack's Going Out tour. Great stuff. More in the specific thread but recommended if you get the chance.

Just saw Sara Pascoe at Clown Chowder. She was proper good, like.

I really recommend the Comedy Club 4 Kids at Soho Theatre. It's proper stand-up acts for children over 6 and grown-ups. A couple of the acts were children themselves and were very good.

My six year-old laughed throughout and it's inspired her to try stand-up - she's just done a routine to me and is now writing down some material.

Went to see Richard Herring's Hitler Moustache show yesterday in Aldershot. It was brilliant and the events kind of just added to the brilliantness of it all: http://www.richardherring.com/warmingup/iphone.php?id=2694

How many moustaches did you take at the end Dan?

I missed the moustaches :( cos I wanted to see what happened with the gorilla.

He understood my name 'Dan' first time and signed it. Not like that idiot Lee... How does 'Dan' sound like 'Gaz', in any way?
