I would say that almost no other view of young adults is ever put forward. Mostly they are shown as confident, articulate, popular and sexually promiscuous. I can't remember seeing a show - comedy or otherwise - where the inexperience of youth, for example, was held up as an obstacle in any situation.

If you mean 'clever' in the sense of being more interested in semiotics than Deejaying, well, no, you don't see that view. But that isn't just an issue about the representation of young people.
