Terminator 5

JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT IT WAS SAFE TO GO BACK IN THE AIR - TERMINATOR 5 – THE NIGHTMARE CONTINUES. FEEL THE HORROR AS YOUR BAG HEADS FOR COUNTRIES YOU NEVER KNEW EXISTED. MARVEL AS TEN BILLION DOLLARS IS THROWN DOWN THE PAN. WEEP AS YOUR FLIGHT SUDDENLY DISAPPEARS WITHOUT TRACE. TERMINATOR 5. COMING SOON TO A RUNWAY NEAR YOU.

It's pretty good, but I'd tighten it a bit. Also call it Terminator 5, then Terminal 5 so it's more of a surprise.

Also have a Arnie voice say,

"I won't go away,"

Thanks Joel, I certainly imagined it anyway in one of those gravelly-voiced American accents you get on disaster movie trailers.

In direct contrast to sooty, I'd call it Terminal 5. I think the name is close enough to Terminator...

Tiny point, but as it's a UK airport, why not make it pounds rather than dollars. Let's not pander to Americans too much!

I think it should be called terminal 5 as well.

The Terminator bit jars as nothing in the speech is related to the Terminator films

I reckon Terminaltor 5 would work quite well. A rewrite with a couple more lines ("starring whoever as Baggage Handler 1 and so-and-so as Director of Miscommunication") and tightening up and I think it would work well as one of those spoof movie trailers Tilt were after.

Dan

I was certainly aiming for Tilt. It's dollars really because it's supposed to be an American-style movie trailer. I was trying to mix and match movies, the opening is from Jaws for example, but maybe it's going off in too many directions and needs a stronger central idea.
