Mmm, curry! Page 2

Yum yum Graham! That's all the more for me :)

Mind I like Thai also and Malayasian too.

Curry is the dog's... - well I hope it's not actually but you know what I mean.

I can replicate a Thai and a Chinese curry at home but whatever goes into Indian / Pakistani curries just can't be copied. The chefs in these places have sold their souls to the great curry god in the sky. I've tried every book and on-line recipe but to no avail. Sometimes close but never a ceegar.

I make a fair decent stab at it but it's never the same as a Friday night take-away or joy of joys the eat in.

Boo hoo I want a curry now but will have to wait until tomorrow night.

I only like Korma.
Which is like the mildest curry known to humankind.

Wetherspoons currys are probably the best currys that are microwaved in the world.

I'm going for one tomorrow £6 for 2!

I had a Korma last week was like dishwater on chicken bah! Bah, I say! Next you'll be saying you like currents in your curry.

I have a voucher, normally about £5 each.

Penny pinching and a meal (and beer) Cannot go wrong.

I've heard Witherspoons are all right but can they match the real thing? I mean a madras or vindaloo with cauliflower bhaji keema nan etc etc.

Can a mod lock this thread before I have to throw my dinner in the bin and give in to temptation?
