I agree! That's one part that was perfect.

to be honest, i think everyone in The Office US was cast perfectly - but rainn wilson tops it off nicely.

Thinking about it, aren't the most inspired pieces of casting when an actor manages to elevate a pretty turgid script? For example, if it hadn't been for Robert Lindsey and Zoe Wannamaker My Family would have been quickly forgotten. But they manage to entuse it's pretty bog standard script with a life it possibly didn't deserve. Across the pond shows like Las Vegas and Shark have been energised by star turns from James Caan and James Woods respectively.

I thought Julian Rhind-Tutt was a perfect choice in Hippies and the whole cast of Spaced was spot on, oh and all of the Young Ones, right kids!
