Walked past a GB place today, but the burgers that we're being served (this was in Basingstoke) looked dry and nasty. So I opted for a nuked meal at ASK instead. Can't win!

That's a bit disappointing. We're getting one in Liverpool and I was vaguely excited, but now I just feel hollow.
Hollow because we've all criticised it, or hollow because you've remembered that you live in or near Liverpool...?

The burger thing, you cheeky scamp. If you're not careful I'll organise a scouse boycott of the British Sitcom Forums.
I can finally get those new hubcaps then!
Why I oughtta! (Shakes fist)
Why pay those prices for a mere "gourmet" burger when you can order a 100-pound hamburger for $380 at this place in Pennsylvania?

My favorite burger here in San Antonio is the Tostada Burger at Chris Madrid's:
"Homemade refried beans, chips, onions, and creamy cheddar cheese on our delicious beef patty. Top it with homemade salsa for a delicious treat. $4.79"
Blimey!

NOTE: The chips mentioned above are tortilla snack crisps (crispy pieces of fried corn tortilla) and not the fried potatoes familiar to those of you in the YouKay.

My mouth is actually watering.
And Don't Dennys suck from what I hear? (from family guy)

Denny's is an ubiquitous chain of 24-hour diner-type restaurants. It's the sort of place drunks gravitate to after a night on the town. They're best known for serving breakfast around the clock.
The Denny's Beer Barrel pub that features the huge burgers isn't affiliated with the chain.
Denny's rule! I don't think we have an equivalent chain here. Kind of half-way between McDonald's and Harvester, if that clarifies anything, Paul.

We do something like that but it's called a "Kebabery" in the UK.
I thought it was Charley's vag?
