Two Pints

I'm sorry if that has been done before... I did do a search, but here goes.

I know that they all died at the end of Two Pints, but will there be another series - it could have all been a nightmare!

Watched the re-runs on BBC Three and now want more. Does anyone know if they are going to make more?

I'm pretty sure that it's been confirmed by the BBC that there will be a new series this year. I highly doubt it if the show is going to end with everyone dying. The next series will more than likely carry on from where the story ended in the penultimate episode and basically ignore the horror episode where they all died.

thanks earman..cant wait...its one of the funniest things on tv at mo.

You may not find too many agreeing with you about this, it seems to be one of those shows a lot of people love to hate, I find it OK but haven’t seen the last series yet ( Duh !) thanks for giving a way the ending. :P

I always hated it, and still do in a way, but strangely have been finding myself watching it. It's on every bloody night!

It's worrying me, to be honest.

I enjoy it, but not entirely sure why. And I saw that horror episode (which, incidentally, I didn't much like) as just a special, and not anything to do with the linear narrative of the series', so not surprised it's coming back. Apart from that one episode (and of course the previous special), it's all pretty believable, so I didn't think they would have spoiled the narrative of seven series' with such an off-the-wall finish.

I have to agree with Aaron here.

I also watch it and dont know why. I think it's when there is nothing else on to be honest.

It does occasionaly make me giggle, the characters are well thought out, and it is an entertaining programme.

I cant find any major fault wiith it, nor can i say its fabulous.

It's watchable.

This show is shit. Not a lot else to say about it really. So Ill just repeat what Ive all ready said. This show is shit.

It is offensively bad, not funny, terrible writing and acting (worst offender is the wacky college girl with the annoying voice). Yep, have to agree that this show is shit.

I hate Two Pints as most people know so won't be watching it myself however those that do like it will be pleased to hear that, as far as I know, they begin filming the 7th season next month (we'll know for sure when the tickets go up on bbc.co.uk/tickets)

The interesting thing about this show is that if you ever hear the producer, Stephen McCrum, talking about it is that he implies he thinks it's shit. And he's right, it is shit.

You may not like Two Pints, but with the immense success it has enjoyed with its target audience, how any of you can call it "shit" is beyond me. IYO it may be, but as an entity in its own right, it quite clearly is not.

Now, take a look at According To Bex. That really IS shit. Failed on every level, and with every audience sector, as far as I'm aware. I have not spoken to a single person about it who actually liked it, and I can't see it coming back for a second series.

Don't know if you'd consider me to be an audience sector but I remember quite liking According to Bex. May just have ben Jessica Stevenson.

I also liked Two Pints.... well, at least the first few series, haven't managed to watch the latter ones.

I can call Two Pints shit because I find everything about it to be substandard. IMO it is shockingly bad and deserves to rank as one of the worst British sitcoms of all time. The old 'lots of people like it' argument doesn't take away from the fact that it's still shit.

i kinda agree with wheeler and the rest of you haters, i find it obvious, unfunny and at the end i always find myself saying "ow is that it?" i don't think the acting is particularily good and the writing is piss poor, but yet bbc 3 show it religeously, why?
