Laughing out loud

... Is British comedy an 'intellectual interest'?

A lot of my friends think it is Laughing out loud

I just dislike that idea some people have that as soon as a woman hits 25 her biological clock takes over and she's just on the prowl, desperately hunting for any man with money and good genes to impregnate her.

How unromantic is that? :)

(I know not many people really have that opinion, but I've met a few that do! And it's definitely insulting.):)

I agree. Or when you are single, you get people trying to set you up thinking you must be some lonely spinster looking for love and babies. Like when they invite you round and there is some troll in the kitchen and they say "Oh, you've not met Colin, have you?"..... grrrr. Doesn't have to be 25. I'm 23 and get "Your single? Poor you..." comments a lot. Does it ever occur to people that not all women want a husband and multiple sprogs?

"Your single? Poor you..."

Could be talking about her cream. Maybe she thinks she should have it whipped.
