Yes.

They're normally ok then? Playing wise.

My mate did buy the entire Dawson's Creek for £30 and it was fine apart from a tear on the box.

Occasionally you'll get a disc with a scratch, but they can be returned (post or in-store). Generally it's good though.

Might give it a try then, keep seeing things I want.

Currently price watching Roseanne everywhere as it's going down every now and then, want to try and nab it when it hits £40 - 50 somewhere

Our CEX in Leeds is pretty good. It's just moved to a bigger premises. The best deal I got from there was season 1 of Cheers. The discs were spotless and for the £5 it cost me I was certain it was priced wrong.

They used to severely piss me off when I'd find a good deal on something, take the box to the counter only for them to say they can't find the disc. Twice that happened but it's not surprising as behind the counter always looks like a jumble sale.

That's happened for me once. Luckily the set's box sleeve was a bit ripped, so I was kind of relieved.

The only problem I've found with CEX is their two day rule when if you return anything after two days you can only get an exchange rather than a refund. Pretty impossible when you've bought a boxset that exceeds 48 hours playing time and still pretty hard to watch an entire series of something in one day to make sure it works before returning on the second day.

I know about that rule. I got my Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em' box set from them, need I say more.

Tis done!

So in future then, if I go through a link that is placed on the forums, even if I don't actually buy the item that the link directs me too, BCG gets some money ... yes?

Not unless he's done his fancy jiggerypokery.

We get commission when you buy something, having accessed it through one of our links. Look mainly for the shop buttons as I put in above. If you want to be sure, then search for the item in our shop: https://www.comedy.co.uk/shop/

If it's an Amazon UK link, then it needs to end in 'comedyguide-21'. Hope that makes a teeny bit of sense. If in doubt, PM me and I'll send a link over. :)
