Continuing in my box-set rotation (" Billy and the Birthday Treat") and am still finding it very funny, especially May Warden who plays the grandmother - she's a scream!
Also, in tonight's I watched, the gorgeous Elizabeth Lax made a rare appearance (in underwear - be still my beating heart) - she was Bob's secretary in Likely Lads. Gorgeous, but sadly died too young back in 1996 aged only 46.
All these sexy ladies keep appearing - a slim, young, mini-skirted Lynda Bellingham in "Billy and the New Life", and I wasn't sure it was her for awhile as she looked so different........................but lovely. ?
She wasn't very old when she died either.
Finished the box set, and it has been most enjoyable, especially for George A Cooper as his father, May Warden as his grandmother, and a mention for Colin Jeavons, as his long suffering employer Mr. Shadrack.
