People who really shouldn't have a career

I note Mathew Wright's been given the job of presenting the new Gladiator show with some anonymous tartlet. Is it just me, but how did he ever get a career on TV? He's devoid of talent and charisma and is about the oiliest human being I've ever had the misfortune to see. Other people who's success mystifies me include the entire Osbourne family, Ben Shephard and Anne Robinson. Anybody else?

The new host of Gladiators is IAN Wright (ex-footballer). The co-host is Kirsty Gallacher (hardly an anonymous, been on TV for years)

(I agree with you about about Mathew Wright though Laughing out loud )

Talking of DJ's, Chris Moyles and Chris Evans shouldn't have careers. And in the case of Moyles, I'm not sure he should be allowed to breathe either.

Steve Wright, is a weird name.

Serial killer, rubbish DJ, and rather good US standup.

Could they all be the same man?

Ah Chris Moyles, another fat bloke letting the side down.

Once did a standup routine on how if the US could misplace atomic weapons and call it mis-storage. I should be allowed to stab Chris Moyles to death, and claim I was miss-storing the knife.

Jordan and Peter Andre (who, bizarrely, seemed to have wangled lucrative ITV2 careers).

The funny thing about Chris Moyles, is that you can tell that he knows he's not talented enough to have been so successful, for so long. I think he knows that 99% of his listeners are idiots, and he probably longs to be popular with more intelligent people. I often get the impression that Jim Davidson, Chris Evans and Robbie Williams feel like this.

Jim Davidson feels nothing he is a poo gollum. Constructed from the poo of all the least talented, most needlessly offensive comics, and given life to walk the earth, spreading misery.

I'm glad somebody mentioned Robbie Williams - he must surely be the biggest twat ever. Surely we could release Mark Chapman from jail with a gun and a map to Robbie's house?

Steve Wright. (The DJ, not the murderer, although obviously him too.)

I disagree. If he'd had a career (a proper one), maybe he wouldn't have gone on a murdering spree.

The slating of Robbie Williams is a bit harsh since he is mentally ill. And for his music, whether it is for your taste or not, he has produced a large amount of brilliant pop songs. And his swing album was superb too considering the class of singers he was replicating.

This is off topic, but the careers of murders is quite interesting. I often wonder what sort of a builder Fred West was. I imagine a bit sloppy on account that he'd always be off murdering runaways.

As for Robbie Williams being mentally ill - no, he's not. He's just an enormous tossbag.

:O

I didn't mind Chris Evans, years ago, when I used to watch him every morning, on The Big Breakfast, when I'd be getting ready for school. He was a good presenter - then he got the T.F.I. Friday job, and started to think he was a comedian, which he most definately wasn't.

Actually, I've always felt Lenny Henry should stick to presenting, and give up the comedy.

So we're not allowed to say someone's a twat if they're "mentally ill"? I disagree most strongly.

CHurchill, Spike Milligan, and John Cleese. Just 3 mentally ill comedians of huge talent. It's deeply patronising to view mental illness as an excuse for being a twat.

Now the real question is, should helpless twats, who can't help being twats and were born that way. Do they deserve to be viewed as a persecuted minority?

Nice Griff.
