I was flicking through the T.V. channels earlier tonight, and I saw your name/names, in amongst the closing credits of MyT.V. Homegrown (or whatever it's called), on Trouble. What did you do on the show?
Slagg Brothers
Yes, The Slaggs presented one of the shows a while back, they get people who have contributed to the show a lot and get invited in to present it.
I don't want to steal their explanation of what they did, so I'll shut up now.
I doubt they'll ever read this Paul, so explain away.
They have forsaken us!
We Are Forsaken???
WE ARE FORSOOK!
Nothing at all. They're still around! Lurking in the shadows...waiting to pounce.
Just listen for the sound of breathing through a gas mask.
Anyway, Trouble had a show that basically put together people "Home grown" comedy, sketches ect ect ect.
And every week someone who contributed to the show with some of their material got to present it.
I have to admit I watched a couple of the episodes and I found it quite disappointing on the whole.
Fun to see the Slaggs actually on my TV though!
And they have way too many projects to be on as often as they would like?
Thank you, everyone for noticing.
Yowser, Paul is correct in his explanation. The Slagg Brothers were on there a few times, made a few pals, got paid to present an episode, had to refilm some links as they were considered TOO RUDE for the Trouble execs , but we toned it down enough.
My biggest shock was seeing our Flobb the Dogg puppet sketch get used for a Sky1 advert campaign over Christmas. We had no money for it btw.
Not forsaken the forum. Was away a week. Then had greatest Flu bout of my life - knocked me out for 2 weeks. I go into anaphalactic shock everytime I sniff a LemSip Max, I've had so many.
Still lurking in General but I mainly sit in the shadows over in Writers' Discussion and Critique. Am real busy at the mo too, writing up 2 new projects (a radio one-off - hopefully - and a new sitcom pilot) so between Flu and writing I'm in one of my quiet patches. But I still log on to Mod my section each night.
Baumski is away for a while and writes a book. SlagA is away for a while and has a cold

So you've manage to sell your soul... without actually selling it.

MyTV Homegrown is on again, at 11:30, on Trouble. I don't know if it's the same episode as the one above.
