Peter Cook on Room 101 Page 2

I didn't know there was a film about Peter Cook. I shall be checking that out post haste. I think the genius of Peter Cook was that he could say anything and make it sound funny. He may well be the most talented comedian there ever was.

It's worth watching and I really enjoyed the film, but it was more an expose of the private PC really, it focused very heavily on his nastiness to Dud and his dissatifaction in life. It was really about the downside of Cook and his career. It painted him as quite dark, which we all knew really. Would like to see that again myself.

The Room 101 episode I barely remember, but he was in top sneery form. The only choice I can remember was prepentious TV ads, which were at their peak then, which must have been early 90s.
