Was a little bored so I came up with this, dont know if its any good,dont really know if it makes any sense, I'll let you decide lol Thanks!

SCREEN WITH AN APOLOGY ON. CAMERA THEN GOES TO 2 PRESENTERS WHO ARE TALKING TO CAMERA. BOTH ARE DRESSED IN SUITS.

As you are aware, in the last 2 years ITV, and British television in general, has lost its status as a trusted organisation. This has mainly been caused by the famous phone competition scandals that have scarred British television. To change the perception of ITV we are committed to bringing in a new regime and in turn this will mean new staff and a new board for the company. (SMILES)

We think, no we know, that our new boss will help restore the faith and tell nothing but the truth, to you, the great British public. Yes I liked that - it could be a NR-er that

Not bad, but the intro is way to long for NR. You need to be thinking of only 2-3 lines. Also give 1 or 2 reasons why they chose him, before you give his name.

e.g. a man who matches our values, and who's as classy and respected as we are.

For this kind of thing you need to wrong foot the audience, a little bit.

not very funny - very long winded for a rather weak gag. Burrell lies, so does ITV.....bolt the two together. Needs to be more to it than that.

Mind you skit where's he mauled by dogs, before being shot right through his fat, lying, spoon stealing face, could work. Especially if it wasn't a skit, and you really did it.

Fat faced, spoon stealing, bastard. Hope Charles bums him.
