Should we just give everyone in Bridgend under the age of 20 a dozen baubles and be done with it?
P.S. This thread is brilliant!

If you want. I dont care who the dead bloke is. As long as he is dead.
Quote: bushbaby @ March 2, 2008, 12:37 AMThere are more christians than muslims
Which is why we celebrate Christmas. I don't know the names of any Muslim religious festivals but I'm pretty sure they don't do a Radio Times special for it and i havent noticed my local garden centre transforing to accommodate the decorating needs it may entail. Nor do they swap their 50ft giant blow up Santa for a Mohamed one (although i imagine that may not go down well!)
As far as i'm concerned i believe in NOTHING so any holiday is cool by me, they could re-name christmas Muslimfest, as long as i get to eat a bit extra and chill out by the TV.
Funnily enough, my 7 year old son ask me about religion the other day. He had heard (dont know where) that if you dont believe you go to hell.
My explanation:
DAD
George, in my hand is a fairy. Do you believe that?
GEORGE (LAUGHING)
No.
DAD
Are you sure, because if you dont believe this fairy will punch you.
GEORGE (LAUGHING)
No, i dont believe.
DAD
and that is why you dont need to wory about hell.

Now that is disturbing. Why not make Maddy dolls for Xmas trees? Can't be any more offensive then anything else this evening.
Maybe parents could tell kids Stephen Wright is Santa, so they won't ask for presents?

Or dead bloke dolls.
You Can Get Elvis dolls whats the difference?
But I want a proper dead bloke doll. With pasty blue skin & a hanging open mouth. One where you press his tummy & blood squirts out.
And Dr Who dolls.
I reckon more kids believe in Dr Who than God and Santa combined.
I'm not killing the Doctor just for Charley though.
Well you can get freddy cruger Dolls he's a dead kid murderer so ticks all the boxes.

All man
On a serious note - my eldest (11) is VERY close to her nan (my parents are Christmas carol Christians) and DOES believe.....which shows how it is SO easy to influence those who look up to you. I dont want to influence anyone. If George wants to believe in fairies at 7 he is welcome to.....but at 7 he is old enough to be able to choose.
