Every1s A Critic Page 3

Griff, I'm not sure what's happening with the voting, from what I hear Declan was unhappy with the system last year too.

The final was decided by 2 judges, so perhaps they'll use this method for all the heats as well.

I didn't see Headhunters, but I thought Art For Arts Sake was very Ben Elton.

I'll run your down in a locomotive sprinkled liberally with vinegar dressing.

I'll deliver a series of strikes to you faster than Ben Elton's delivery.

By the time I've finished with you, you'll be as beaten, and tired as Ken Dodd Playing Bournemouth pier. I'll slay you like Jackie Mason playing a right wing Zionist audience.

3 hours of derivative 1970s stnadup, to a senile, half dead audience, with 12 year old girls running around as diddy men.

What the hell is it, with the buck toothed, unfunny man, why are people so quick to defend him?

Oh yes, it was meant as a compliment!

I didn't even get to see You Can't Go Home Again! I was in NZ at the time. Sweet As benefitted from a terrific director though.

The other script that really stood out was The Good Guide, very impressed with that one.

Griff try not to put me off entering please, that's awful.

To paraphrase Ice-T:

How you gonna diss Ken Dodd?

He is a fantasist grounded in reality, an admirable talent.

We constantly battle over the inclusion of puns.

By the way, we emailed Every1s A Critic yesterday and haven't heard anything. Any idea how quickly they reply?

Got back pretty sharpish to me -- a couple of hours! (5pm-ish I sent one and got one back at 8pm-ish)

Dan

Cheers for that.
Hmmm. We used: info@every1sacritic.com
Is there any other email address we could try?

That's the same one I used so I assume you hold tight. I'll email you the information if you want. PM me if you do.

Dan

Brilliant. That would be great. Thanks very much. We are meeting up tonight so we can discuss whether it's worth the onions, so that'd be really helpful.

I have emailed you.

Cheers
Mark

Emailed.

I've been trying the info@ address for a couple of days now but gotten nothing. And before anyone gets wise, I haven't sent them my script yet.

Okay, I got my reply. I guess they're just a bit snowed under.

It's worth mentioning that, according to their guidelines, they're only looking for sitcoms a maximum of 15 mins in length.

Hi Dave

Can you PM me the guidelines you received from them ?

Cheers,
