There might be a little bit of Cornish stuff creeping in, but only if those that are involved this end can be bothered to write it - and if it's good enough. Really I've got more national stuff in mind a la Treason and Newsrevue.

Just a quick update.
It's starting to come together now and we believe we've found a suitable Falmouth venue.
We'll be auditioning actors soon.
With the possible venue looking promising we ought to be able to put a show on in April.
We hope to build on this to have the show running in Falmouth, Truro and Camborne, at least once a month if not once a fortnight.

So people who want to write for us should watch this space and/or be put on our mailing list by emailing me at jim@newstroupe.co.uk .

How big's the venue, James?

Pretty small.
I haven't looked round it yet, but Ro has.
I think it'll seat around 50. Seems like a nice number.
Same venue as "Dumbfunded" which was doing the rounds on here a while back.
We'll see though.

Haha, it's in the arse-end of nowhere, is where it is.
It's actually a pretty lovely place to live but nothing much goes on down here. Way down south.

Are you looking for topical stuff or just funny?

Really, the brief is that it has to be topical. However, it's often not too hard to hang a "satirical" hat on sketches. Specially with characters like Dubya around.

...Or maybe it IS hard... hmm... I'm not sure!!

Do you have a target date? If you're ready to go we can probably get loads of stuff to you.

Particularly Newsrevue and Treason rejects.
