If you won the lottery....

Would you give up writing?

Money would mean you could buy all the equipment you want to film your work. You could even afford some semi-decent actors. However, you also wouldn't have to worry about your future and that could make you lazy.

I think it would certainly weed out who was committed about their writing and who wasn't.

Personally, I would keep on writing. He says.

I would write even more crap than i do now. Laughing out loud

I'd pay a hoard of 1000 jolly people to follow me around laughing at every thing I said. I think after a while it would have a virile effect of making others join in. I could with care make the whole of Kingscross laugh, 1000s of people, maybe all of London. Eventually I would be the funniest man in the UK, with my own BBC channel, BBC sootyj.

They would have to be very, very jolly people.

I would hire actors to fill NR every week. Strict orders to be silent during every one elses bits, but paroxysms of joy at mine.

I'd really start writing.

I'd stay at the Grosvenor for a few months then cruise the world whilst writing/drinking/dancing/yahooing/gyming/swimming......

I wouldn't give up writing just the day job :S

What would be the point of gymning?

I would give up the day job and write for sure, in fact it is my business plan - just need the win.

I would probably setup a production company. At the end of the day even with loads of money you still need something to do as its amazing how quickly people spend their millions. So you either spend it all and get left with debt or you invest it, buy a nice house/car and do what? Nothing? Not for me, writing is an outlet.

I write because I have to. Money wouldn't change that drive. It's as boring and simple as that. :$

Silly question, but does any one hear play the lottery?

Doesn't trying to be a comedy writer seem like playing the lottery sometimes? :)

Yeah, but the odds are longer!

I do.

I want people to go 'look! There's the girl who is rich because she wrote the thing' not 'look! There's the girl who's rich because she won the lottery'...
