Mugger Sketch

It's late.

Ext. Town. Night.

A man is walking down a street. Out of an alleyway steps a mugger.

Mugger: Here, mate. Give us your wallet.

Man: No. Get your own you.

Mugger: I said “GIVE!”.

Man: And I said “no”.

Mugger: Right!

The mugger throws a punch at the man. The scene freezes just before the mugger’s fist hits the man. An explosion of light fills the screen.

Cut To: The man has been transported to a bright, white room. A door to it opens and in walks Dan Aykroyd.

Man: Oh wow! It’s movie legend Dan Aykroyd. Tell me, Dan, how do I escape the mugger?

Dan: People think that Bill Murray was the most popular Ghostbuster, but they’re wrong.

Man: Wh-what?

Dan: Dragnet originally saw me being teamed up with an animated chimp. Luckily, I was able to exert creative control and called in Tom Hanks.

Man: Dan, I need your help to escape the mugger. Stop reminiscing!

Dan suddenly looks very concerned.

Dan: BELUSHI! BELLLLLLLUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSHIIIIIIIII!!!!!

Man: Who?

The screen fills with an explosion of light.

Cut To: The original night-time street scene.

The action is freezed, but unfreezes after a second. The mugger's punch connects with the man’s face. The man falls to the floor.

Man: (WHEEZES) Damn you, Aykroyd.

ENDS

I'm sorry but I'm totally lost here.

I thought that was slightly odd but really good.

Yea I agree with yer Shoepie. Good sketch!

Very random sketch. I liked its randomness. The end line should be more angry though. Something like 'f**king Akroyd'

I'm glad that a few people liked it. It doesn't make any sense, but I laughed aloud at it and I rarely do that with anything I write.

It makes no sense but it somehow seems very funny.

So that's good.

Wonderfully bizarre. Thumbs up. Maybe it could be something "better" than a mugging? I reckon there could be a few other possible disasters that could befall the man that may be funnier.

I used to write things like this all the time when I was younger. Maybe I should write some more.

I really like this - mental.

You really let your brain off the leash with that one, didn't you? An effluent stream of consciousness. I liked it a lot.
