I'm a Liverpool fan and went the match yesterday. Are there any Barnsley fans here by any chance? Would just like to congratulate them, Liverpool deserved to go out yesterday. We had plenty of chances but were unable to put them away. Hate to admit it but without Gerrard and Torres (and Carragher) were are nothing. Also hate to admit it but if Benitez does not get a result on Tuesday, it looks inevitable that he'll be looking for a new job. Once again well done Barnsley!

What I don't understand is why Rafa and others don't START with the best 11, blow the opposition away and then sub them so they get rest.
Why leave it to chance?
Tuumble, I agree totally mate. Every week the fella leaves me baffled.Like yesterday, he plays Itandje. Not because he has earned to play but because Rafa knows that the lad wont get many games because of how good Pepe Reina is. Itandje knew he wouldnt get many games when he signed and I understand how frustrated the bloke must be, but in my book every player on that pitch should have earned the right to play. And yet again another chance of getting some silverware goes! I just hope Tuesday we turn it around and put a few past Milan.
