ITV2 Comedy Cuts

Guys

Interesting story on the Chortle website. ITV2 are looking to significantly increase their comedy output. I have included the link to the story below:-

funny all they have to do to increase their comedy output would be to make 1 comedy sketch

I've read about this on digitalspy aswell. Hopefully it will good but i'll wait till i see it, but it's nice to see ITV might actually be trying now.

Just watched this, first impressions, pile of cak

i watched this last night and oh dear what a steaming pile of turd, it wasn't funny at all IMO and on the guide it said, "comedy cuts involves the next generation of comic talent" if that is the case were all bloody doomed,
all in all a really poor show.

I forgot it was even on. I'll try and watch it next week.

Don't bother hotzappa, Lewis is spot on.

Dear oh dear oh dear. It shows how lazy the writing is when all a character does is imitate other people off the TV or a singer/songwriter.

Christ! I could have sworn sketches used to have a beginning, middle and end to them. Now they just go on and on. The editing is atrocious these days.

I watched this for the first time yesterday, and actually I thought some parts of it were good - especially Andrew Lawrence.
It had Simon Munnery for christ's sake! He's a flipping comedy genius.

I'm just glad there's so much comedy on at the moment. There used to be lots on in the early 90s, but it's been a bit empty since then.
