I put my personal differences aside and took a read of this, but have to give it a thumbs down.

You give yourself setups, but don't follow through with a funny line.

It seems as though you take a news story which could be quite plausible, but only subvert it very mildly.

I find it difficult to see what you are trying to spoof/satire. Is the news obsessed with internet dating? No. Chris Morris' Brass Eye paedo special worked because the media was obsessed with paedophiles at the time. He captured the zeitgeist.

I think with a piece like this, it would be best to spoof the Daily Mail's OTT reaction to anything involving sex.

I think that is called 'subtlety' Winterlight.

But we do agree on one thing, I don't think Kent Pete and British Sitcom Forums was a match made in heaven.
